The Glas Nocturne – Ohio Tour

Is it ever justifiable to take the life of another human being?

The Center for Applied Theatre & Active Culture and New World Performance Lab (Akron OH) present Seattle’s premiere ensemble-based theatre company, Akropolis Performance Lab (APL), and its production of The Glas Nocturne for three performances November 20 & 21.

APL Co-Artistic Director Joseph Lavy has adapted Hjalmar Söderberg’s scandalous 1905  fin-de-siecle novel, Doktor Glas (1905), into a noir monodrama of psycho-sexual fixation, moral questioning, and murder that pushes APL in new directions.

Features live performances of solo piano nocturnes and evocative Swedish choral settings.

Show Times:
November 20, 8:00 PM
November 21, 2:00 PM & 8:00 PM

Run time is ~90 minutes.
